Good Product, But Not for Every Surface,
This review is from: Rejuvenate Cabinet and Furniture Restorer and Protectant (12 oz) (Kitchen)
I used the floor Restorer on the high traffic area of my wood floors and was happy with the result so I decided to try the Canbinet Restorer as well. First, this product yeilds a HIGH Gloss shine. If yu do not want a high gloss shine or your current surface is not high gloss and you are not adept at applying this evenly do not use it. I don't mean to imply it is difficult to use because it is not, just that it may not be for everyone. Second, this product is labeled as a "Cabinet and Furniture" restorer. I used it on my stained (as opposed to painted) wood kitchen cabinets and it worked fabulously. I also used in on tops of certain wood furniture that had become scuffed. However, similar to the woman below I would not recommend using this on a kitchen or dining room table or any surface where you expect to have to clean it with chemical cleaners as it is not meant for that. It will come off/change if exposed to that. That being said my wood floors and wood cabinets stay looking great by cleaning with water or my wood floor water based cleaner or (on the cabinets) furniture polish. I'd recommend it if they are old - before replacing or re-finishing - try it... what have you got to lose?

Tried it on Solid Surface,

I was out of options for my solid surface counter tops, so I tried Rejuvenate. It did the best job of anything I tried, there was a beautiful, high gloss and it holds up for weeks with just wiping with wet, soapy sponge. Even a mild bleach solution didn't seem to ruin it. Anything with ammonia such as glass cleaner will kill it instantly however -- cleaning the window above the counter you could see exactly where overspray hit the countertop. The only way to fix it was to give it a light sanding with a scrubby and re-apply. The real down side for me? I'm hooked on the shine, now I have to keep buying the stuff for when it wears off.

Beautiful at First,
This review is from: Rejuvenate Cabinet and Furniture Restorer and Protectant (12 oz) (Kitchen)
I used this on my Formica kitchen counter. It was gorgeous at first. The shine was almost unbelievable. But after just a couple of days, I realized that I probably shouldn't have used it on my kitchen island. You can't use regular cleaners on it because it damages the shine. Worse than that, anything hot discolors it. I spilled some hot water from a tea kettle on it and it left a white foggy spot on the finish. It scratches easily and that too shows up very well. This might be good for cabinets or areas that don't get a lot of traffic but I don't recommend it for countertops.

I applied the product to my sealed cherry dining room table as instructed. Whenever I place a hot or cold item on the table (it is a dining room table, after all), even with placemats or other protectants, the finish turns a cloudy white that can only be removed with vigorous scrubbing with a wet cloth so as not to scratch the surface underneath. I am now looking for a way to remove the dull, spotty finish without having to spend hours scrubbing away. I do not recommend this product.

We live in an older doublewide but it is nice. I had lots of beautiful cabinets in good shape until I hired someone to clean house. She used Lysol and water and washed the cabinets! It left them dull, ugly and lusterless. I tried different products e.g.,Pledge, etc.--nothing worked..I was so sad! My husband said they would have to be sanded and varnished! So I bought Rejuvenate Cabinet & Furniture Restorer and WOW!! They are once again..beautiful!! I am hoping to do my Formica countertops next. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!

Good result, tricky to apply to large areas,

We have off-brand laminate flooring on our entire first floor. They have taken quite a beating. This product did a good job, making the floors more reflective and easier to keep clean. The one problem, however, was how to apply to 1000 sq. feet evenly. You have to vacuum, mop, rinse, dry, apply, let product dry--tough to achieve in a large area (especially with 3 kids, a dog and a cat). I needed two-three coats to blend the edges, a lot of product, and it took probably 8 hours overall, but it looks good. It also worked well on the stained kitchen cabinets.

There are a lot of glowing reviews for this product, but read the caveats carefully. It might be all right for an old Formica countertop since those are practically indestructible and you can use a variety of products to remove the Rejuvenate later.I made the mistake of using Rejuvenate Cabinet and Furniture Restorer on all my kitchen cabinets and moved on to the bedroom furniture without even knowing what's in the product. The cabinets and furniture looked shiny and pretty only as long as the product was wet. Once dry, there was no noticeable change or improvement in the appearance of the wood. Even days later the surfaces feel sticky and gummy, even a little gritty. If anything the wood seems drier than it did before using Rejuvenate. If I can't find another product to get this OFF my furniture it's going to be a real pain trying to remove the dust and dirt that will be virtually "glued on" the surfaces. It might be alright as a temporary fix for something you are either planning to throw away or refinish anyway, but don't use this on anything you want to use and keep as is. A little Old English Furniture Polish: Lemon Oil 8 OZ would be a much better option for your wood and just as easy to apply. If you value your furniture steer clear of this!

didn't have much luck,

I also applied this to my dining room table. Unfortunately I am unable to get rid of the streaks, blotches and dull spots. It went on great and looked nice wet but once it dried it looked horrible. I continued to follow the instructions with no improvement in the finish. Now I am wondering how to remove it? I do not recommend this product.

SKEPTICAL BUYER CONVERTED - LOVE THIS STUFF!,

This review is from: Rejuvenate Cabinet and Furniture Restorer and Protectant (12 oz) (Kitchen)
I bought Rejuvenate for reasons I can't remember about a year and a half ago. Then a couple months ago I had a kitchen and bath renovation, resulting in two new ceramic tile floors, tiled shower, and ceramic tile countertops. That's a lot of tile. Being that my husband and I are not exactly the cleanest people, I was concerned about sealing the tile properly. My contractor brother used a silicone sealant but suggested I might want to seal the tile again after he was done just to be sure.I tried using the silicone but it is a pain. YOu have to wipe the tile quickly or it leaves a film that you have to brillo off. I did an internet search on grout sealing and found a couple of references to Rejuvenate so I pulled out my unused bottle and set to work. I read a lot of the Amazon reviews so I waited this long to write the review just to make sure I had a good month + of normal use first. I love the Rejuvenate finish and it is so much easier to use than the silicone. I can put the Rejuvenate right on top of the tile itself and it leaves it showroom shiny. It has been nearly 2 months since applied and I haven't had to scrape off anything. I have spilled raw egg, blueberry juice, milk, dog food, coffee, you name it. The Rejuvenate coat is just like a part of the tile and has held up tremendously. Shortly after my kitchen was done, I converted another room to a dining area. The original (1950) oak wood floors were in okay shape but had some worn traffic areas. I didn't really want to refinish them at that point, so I applied a coat of Rejuvenate. They look fabulous. I'm not suggesting that Rejuvenate is a substitute for polyurethane but if your floor just needs a kick or a temporary fix, this is the stuff. I bought another bottle (one did the counters, bathroom floor, and a 11 x 13 room wood floors with about 1/4 bottle left) and coated the tile floor on another room in my basement. It looks amazing. As long as you use this as directed, it is wonderful on wood and tile.

WOW!!! Very Impressed,

This review is from: Rejuvenate Cabinet and Furniture Restorer and Protectant (12 oz) (Kitchen)
we were planning on using polyurethane to apply a gloss look to the cabinets. I saw the infomercial and noticed that the sell it at Home Depot, so I figure the $12 dollars was worth the try before all the work with the polyurethane. It took 2 hours to apply to a medium size kitchen (2 applications). The results were awesome! I tested a small area first and was so impressed, I jumped right in to complete the rest. I am now working on all the bathrooms. enjoy! Oh for reference, the cabinets were 3yrs old but very dull looking.
