New Orleans-based gangsta rapper Juvenile was born Terius Gray. After beginning his performing career while in his teens, he released a 1995 album on Warlock titled Being Myself. He eventually crossed paths with Cash Money label owners Ronald "Suga Slim" and Brian "Baby" Williams, who issued 1996's Solja Rags; the album became a major underground hit, and set the stage ... 3.0 out of 5 stars Rejenvenation June 19, 2012
Format:Audio CD
I been a Juvie fan since he dropped 400 degreez , now he's back with his 10th solo album "Rejuvenation" which is alright. Its a upgrade from his "Beast Mode" which received bad reviews from fans and critics. The album starts off with the title track "Rejuvenation" where he drops a dope verse with Mannie Fresh ad-libbing in the background which was a good way to start the album, then on "Power" he hooks up with Rick Ross to drop another banger, this is the best song on here to me. "Mardi Gras" is a sick track where Juvie copies the Rick Ross type flow (9 Piece, Mc Hammer, Etc..) on the hook as he says "I'm here to set the party off n**** Mardi Gras!/ Mardi Gras!" , and he also uses the Ace Hood/Meek Mill type flow on the verses. The album suffers from repetitive hooks and limited subject matter which is common in mainstream hip hop now. Juvenile misfires when he steps outside of his comfort zone for instance on "Aint What You Want" where he sings in auto tune with a poppy type beat, it sounds like he was aiming for the the Flo-rida/Pitbull crowd which comes off way too forced, "Toast to The Good Life" sounds dated like it could of been released in the early 2000s, as the hook "Its a celebration I made it past 21", another track I wasn't feeling is "Got It Like That" which features Wacko & Skip which is the typical I spend as much money as I want because I got the money to do that. In conclusion I like the first 7 tracks, then after that I got extremely bored listening to this...

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD Jammin! July 17, 2012
Format:Audio CD
You can never go wrong with a Juvenile CD. Every song on the CD is Jammin with the exception of one with a techno beat and auto-tune, It is complete trash. But, given that one song- I really like this CD and I own every Juvenile CD back to before he was with cash money
