Being in the mental health and substance abuse field for many years, I am always looking for ways to help find that AH HA moment that will start my clients on the road to recovery. I found this workbook and the exercises extremely helpful. Helping others actually look at high risk situations and helping them to think about how to manage them is crucial to recovery. This work book spells it out without searching for the right steps to discovery. It is clear and builds to a logical conclusion. Nicely done!

This book is very useful and it is effective. I never knew how to teach a relapse prevention class until I purchased this book. It's a great investment for those that are or will be working with the Substance Abuse population.

Being a mental health counselor, I utilize information learned in in this workbook in education programs for clients and their families. Education is so important in recovery and having a plan for relapse is vital. A great tool for anyone in recovery.

I sent this book to a group who meet in prison to share the exercises, from what I heard it's a great book. Have not worked with it personally - but the staff liked it.

This work book is one of the best I have found, I'm do AOD and CRISIS counseling. this booklet help me in groups and one on one assistance, it also help's set goals and principes.

This product has been a good compolement to my recovery. I like the thought provoking questions throughout the workbook.

Gave as a gift to a coworker who was promoted. He love it because easy to follow exercise for the population he is working with.

The contents of the book was helpful; I'm familiar with Gorski's work. However, the condition in which they arrived was bad. The workbooks looked like they had been put in water and dried out. Unfortunately I was unable to inspect them until the evening of my group. I used them but comments were made about the condition. I won't order from that distributor again.
