"Whenever I am reading and come upon something exceptional that I want to remember for later, I put a "WOW" in the sidebar of the text.
In Srinivas Rao's Relationship Marketing ebook I had 12 "WOW's" in the first 20 pages." - Frank Dickinson

"Just when I thought I knew everything about blogging and connecting, I read Relationship Marketing and learned some new, very key elements.
Now I understand how the top bloggers got to where they are; Srini's book lays it all out for you" - Maria Brophy

The power of your blog is not in the words you write, the products you sell, or even the number of fans you have. The true power of your blog is in the relationship you have with your readers, your customers, and your partners.

It’s a relationship that got me a free place to live in Costa Rica

It’s a relationship that caused another blogger to send me a BRAND NEW suit for Blogworld. (this one still blows my mind – I didn’t even ask for it)

It’s a relationship that resulted in an invitation to be a paid contributor to an Adage 150 blog

It’s a series of relationships with bloggers that allowed me to build an amazing writing team for a corporate blog that I could trust to do the work without my supervision.

It’s echoed throughout the blogosphere as a mantra that relationships are everything in the online world today. So you do everything in your power to connect with people and get their attention:

You comment on the biggest blogs you can find
You tweet the most interesting posts you can find.
You work as hard as you can to build a network.
You read up on every strategy you can for growing your blog.
But when it’s all said and done you still feel like all you hear is the sounds of crickets chirping on your own blog.

You even consider giving up and thinking that it’s just not worth your time and effort to have a blog.

That's why I wrote Relationship Marketing for Bloggers. It's full of actionable ideas to build your brand by building relationships.

What You’ll get from It:

Quality Traffic that Actually Sticks
Referrals for Freelance/Contract Work
Relationships that Extend Beyond Your Business/Blog
Access to People With a Wide Variety of Skills

So, What’s In the book?

The Tremendous Importance of Your First Reader
How to Build Your Tribe
The Key Elements to Spreading Your Influence
The Blog Comment Goldmine
Collaborating with Other bloggers to Play a Bigger Game
Turning 150 Followers into a Personal Network Powerhouse
Building A Blogger Entourage
and Much more.

You'll also get access to the BlogcastFM newsletter and get to listen in on a free 1-hour blog strategy session with one of our clients along with 2 brand new interviews delivered to your inbox every week.

Relationship Marketing is a networking guide for bloggers and pretty much anyone who wants to make powerful connections online.
I know the author from BlogcastFM, which is a popular podcasting site about successful bloggers and online entrepreneurs.
Judging from those interviews and Mr. Rao's vast connections, he's more than credible to write a book about building relationships online.

Now, let's talk about the book.

The writing style is casual and straight to the point - don't expect a scientific Shakespeare in this one. Personally - I like this style because
most of the how-to books out there are full of fillers and stiff language.

Nothing in this guide is revolutionary either, but you get a lot of practical advice that you can act on STRAIGHT AWAY.
Since I'm a practical person who loves actionable advice, this really turned me on.

Get this book, if you want to:

expand your influence online
make kick-ass connections
promote yourself/and your brand online

In short: It's a rock-solid infotaining networking know-how guide that's both useful and fun to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars very practical advice from top bloggers in the industry February 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Relationship Marketing is a great read ! Why? Because there's a lot of custom interview materials from Srini's podcast with top bloggers and original insights that you can actually put into use now. This eBook is a great read if you're trying to enter the world of blogging and need concrete steps on how to build an audience, how often to engage with your followers and how to be yourself in your writing. Even if you're not a beginner, the tips in this book are great for getting over hurdles to truly grow your fan base and rise above the fray in a crowded segment. I highly recommend it, and have used the tips in my own blogging and social media work.

This needed a proofreader, but concise and smart info for bloggers and so try to ignore the typos and missing words and hone in on the clever action tips.

More About the Author

I'm Srinivas Rao (aka. "Srini"), the host and co-founder of BlogcastFM, a podcast where I interview business experts, best selling authors, and successful entrepreneurs. Since starting BlogcastFM in February 2010, I've interviewed over 250 of the world's most successful bloggers, authors, and internet entrepreneurs. Former guests on the podcast include Danielle Laporte, Ramit Sethi, Julien Smith, Mike Stelzner, Chris Guillebeau, and many others. Today the show has over 120 5-star reviews in iTunes and receives over 80,000 downloads a month.

As a byproduct of my work on BlogcastFM, I've been a two time speaker at Blogworld Expo. I'm a regular contributor to the Adage 150 Blog GROW, and my writing has been featured on numerous social media and personal development blogs. I'm also the author of the personal development blog, The Skool of Life which I've grown to over 50,000 monthly visitors.

I'm also a bit obsessed with surfing (the ocean, not the internet). I caught one good wave in Brazil a few years ago and my life has never been the same. If you contact me there's a chance we might talk about surfing.
