Each chapter is a veritable checklist on how to turn ordinary situations into rainmaking opportunities. The book is filled with many practical ideas, and one reading won t be enough. It will become your desk reference for situations you will face over and over again.

I'm a senior manager of an accounting firm based in Hong Kong. A partner of our firm shared Mark Maraia's latest book, "Relationships Are Everything! and I've enjoyed reading it immensely. I find the book very useful for day in and day out marketing activities. It also helps a great deal in formulating my marketing plan. I'll definitely be telling my friends who want to build their practice about this book.

As great as they are at practicing law, many lawyers do not have basic relationship-building skills. And, despite the ease of digital communications, selling legal services and practicing law still are anchored in relationships. In his newbook "Relationships Are Everything!," Mark Maraia provides practical guidance about how to initiate, advance and enjoy the benefits (business and otherwise) of strong relationships. In teaching lawyers at a large law firm how to sell and how to be better at sales, I regularly share concepts from Mark's earlier book, "Rainmaking Made Simple," and our lawyers already are utilizing the easy-to-understand, easy-to-implement ideas from his new book, "Relationships are Everything!" Though Mark is himself a trained lawyer and though this book clearly addresses sales issues of law firms, the instruction on how to build foundationsal relationships will benefit anyone trying to build and grow a business. Mark Maraia has helped me to relearn a verity in the legal marketing business: "Relationships ARE Everything!"

I was looking for a book about nurturing good relationships within the company.
Maybe if I had read the blurb more carefully I would have realised this was a book about selling.
If you are having trouble finding prospects, this could be useful.
