When I first heard this song I thought it was a song from the 60's by Shirley Bassey. After I couldn't find the song by her on the internet, I decided to look up Doubletree because I had heard part of the song on a commercial for Doubletree. There it was by Dinah Washington. I had never heard of her. How could I have missed such a great singer? The song made me happy. It reminded me of the happy days of the 50's and 60's. And now I am a fan of Dinah Washington. Her voice does remind me of Shirley Bassey's, another great singer, whom most people remember for the hit song, "Goldfinger" from the James Bond movie by the same title. "Relax Max" is a catchy tune that owes much of it's appeal to the great delivery by Dinah Washington, a great singer whose voice sticks in your head and you want to hear the song again and again. I definitely will buy it and enjoy listening to it. It would be a great song to play at pool parties or evening get togethers with close friends.

Relax Max take it easy, that's the fax jax...the evening hasn't even started yet, so my pet, control yourself, control yourself, don't get upset.

Be cool fool, take it easy, that's the rule... (etc)

In the lyrics, the boy must keep his cool and keep his hands to himself for the duration of the date. And only when he has proven himself, can he make a move. Until then RELAX MAX!

This is another song that I cannot get enough of. I heard the chorus of it on a commercial for Doubletree (I think) and then started scouring the internet for it. When I found it on Amazon, I was thrilled. Now it is on my iPod and I can play it all I want. Yes!

I bought this song because I fell in love with it from the use of it in the commercial. If you like hearing it on the tv, you'll love the non-stop playing you can get from the MP3 download. It was quick and worth the .99cents download.

wonderful songs.dinahs voice is incredeable she sings so wonderfully. and the song relax max just great. i would definately buy this cd for yourself
