Undiluted oil comes on strong, with first impression of strong citrus/earth with a breakdown of "notes" which is fascinating. I was sniffing my wrists every hour or so and each time came back with another part of the blend dominating. This complexity is olfactory fun, like a story unfolding in scent.

Thus, it is recommended for those who are put off by an initially potent scent do as Edens Gardens suggests: dilute. Use jojoba or grapeseed oil. I'm tempted to add it to shea butter and wax some unfinished wood, just to keep the scent around me. The blend creates emotions of cleanness and clarity in my sensory realm.

To the person who wrote the one-star review: I suspect you did not dilute the oil. Then there are people who cannot handle strong scents and those whose body chemistry will not meld well with some oils, even when diluted properly. For example, oak moss smells delicious on me but sandalwood (and I've tried many) tends to develop an unpleasant "fishy" note. When I blend sandalwood with a bit of amber resin, this eliminates the fish problem.

How an oil smells on your skin can be modified according to medications you take, whether you smoke cigarettes and whether you are a carnivore, vegetarian or vegan. There are many variables in the chemistry of scent, which is why there is no "one size fits all" oil, blend or perfume.

I'm having fun with this oil and am impressed with the quality for such a low price.

This is an awesome product! I have purchased other essential oils before, but nothing compares to this one. It is absolutely great! The oil has an extremely wonderful smell, and it fills the entire room with a wonderful fragrance not to mention that it makes me feel more relaxed. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

It has a very soothing, relaxing, and refreshing aroma. I apply a drop of this oil on a cotton ball and smear it on the vents of my table fan. This fills the whole room with its fragrance.

More of a hip, unisex aroma than granny smell. Perfect for unwinding those frazzled nerves after a crazy day. The aroma is mainly lavender, but the other oils keep it from smelling all flowery. My husband evens likes it. Works particularly well in linen sprays. Makes our sheets smell great!

That's pretty much the jist of this fragrance. I am unable to really focus on one particular scent from this blend because it is extremely overpowering. I have tried using a few drops in bath salts and in some homemade deodorant but it is really strong. In fact the deodorant I make is with Raw Shea butter and that has a strong smell, this completely covered it with only 5-7 drops, its that strong. You will get your money's worth scent wise, but the smell itself isn't very pleasing.

I diluted it with some coconut oil to spread on my wrists when studying, I kept reading things about scents and memory, so I thought what the hay, I'll give it a try. Too overpowering.

Also I ordered 2 synergy blends, they shipped together but the company charged me individual shipping costs, WTH? That is completely ridiculous. I will not be ordering from this company again.

I am glad I went by the reviews of this product. The price is amazing for the quality of the essential oil. I love the blend and I use this in my sons bath (6 drops), I also use a drop in their hair and clothing. I am back on to get another bottle.

I read someone else's review that this product gives you a headache.

My experience with these products is that when I use it too much...I feel really sick.
I put about 15 drops continuously on my oil burner for about 3 hours...I had to open a window....my throat starting hurting too.

I love this product though.

I use only a few drops for the first half of the day...then if I'm craving more scent then I put a few more for the second half.

I have a hard time spending money on essential oils as they seem very small. I got this oil for a water air purifier and just a drop or two works great! Makes my whole room smell good and it's a good strong scent. I really wish I would have bought the sample pack though so I could have tried them all.
