Originally I didn't want a CD with any music, just nature sounds, but I bought this after listening to the two sound clips. I'm so glad I did. It's so peaceful and relaxing. The nature sounds are just right, not too loud or soft or too intermitant. The predominate sounds are a babbling brook, and two different birds in the background. All sound very authentic and definitely not from a computer. Even the music that's played is perfect. It's not a new age song where you can identify a tune throughout. Instead, it's one or two chords that seem to fade in and out. You almost barely notice them. It complements the other sounds perfectly.

I've heard several other relaxation CDs that include music and this is by far the best. There's absolutely nothing that I find annoying. The CD is perfect for meditation or soothing sounds to help you drift off to sleep.

I've had this CD for years -- it's my morning meditation and yoga CD. I've probably listened to it thousands of times and I never tire of it. When I'm wired or spinning out of control, it can bring me right to center. Lately I've been listening to it at work when the noises get to me.

Great balance of authentic nature sounds and music. I've tried others of a similar genre and just keep coming back to this one.

The concept of 51 bpm (beats per second) or the beats of the heart in rest, transports the listener from a world of peace. Beautiful and inteligent balance between natural sounds and smooth synthesized music. I listen all night to sleep. Buy It.

The CD is nice, but not too much variation in what is presented...a little monotonous.

This is very calming and relaxing. I love listening to music with nature sounds in the background. This is excellent to meditate to.

I do not like this CD. It has a very dark undertone to it. Creeps me out. Feels like it'll give me nightmares. The tropical sounds and birds are great but the instruments in the back were not chosen wisely to play

If you like it, you'll like also: "Mountain Streams", "Ocean Voyages", "Distant Thunder", "Mountain Serenety", "Spring Showers", "Awakenings", "Tropical Rainforest". Here in Brazil you can find only 4 titles as: 1.(Ocean Voyages): "Sons Da Natureza - A Viagem Dos Oceanos Vol. 28". 2.(Mountain Streams): "Sons Da Natureza - O Brotar Das Águas Vol. 27". 3.(Awakenings): "Sons Da Natureza - O Despertar Da Manha Vol. 29". 4.(Tropical Rainforest): "Sons Da Natureza - Floresta Tropical - Os Sons Da Vida Vol. 26. I think he is one of the bests in genere.

The rain sounded more like something frying in a pan and all the same all the way threw didn't care for.
