This cd was very relaxing,a good combination between whales,waves & chimes. One not overpowering the other,very soothing & relaxing.Allowing you to hear the beautiful sounds of the whales an instant reliever,from what ever ails you.I listen to this what ever the problem is stress/tensed & it takes it away.

I was disappointed with this cd, because I thought I was getting clear whale songs. Instead, you hear waves lapping at your boat with wind chime sounds and other non-natural sounds that seem to drown out the whale songs. The whale songs, I felt, are not to clear. I couldn't hear them over the other stuff and didn't know if I was hearing one or not. This is my opinion; I didn't like it, but maybe you would.

I bought this on a previous reviewer's recommend, and I am so glad I did! If you want to feel like you are just floating on the ocean, in utter relaxation, with only the mystical melodies of whales, this is the recording for you. I especially liked it because the whales' songs are not too overwhelming, which I actually find somewhat disturbing on other CDs. Here, they are just the perfect accompaniment to the sound of gentle waves and low key music. I feel like I could drift away forever listening to this.

The only relaxation tape that relaxes and puts my son to sleep. Totally soothing.

It would have been nice to know that this
DVD is more music than whale sounds. Was disappointed...

I would not say that this is a true CD about the sounds of Whales. It contains a lot of synthesized sounds and music that resembles the ocean and the sound of whales but not a true nature CD enviromental sound. It is still good and i used it as an ambient track or when I just want to push the outside noise out. Most likely you won't be disapointed with this bargain price but just be aware that it does not contain real Whale sounds or at least not enough to represent a true natural enviromental sound.

One of the biggest problems I find with "Relaxation" music is the wide range of recording qualities out there. This CD is a very high quality recording, which allows you sit back, listen and relax.
