I bought this CD for my parrots to listen to while I was at work. Turns out that they love it, and I love it, too! It's relaxing to play this while I'm reading or resting. Some nature CDs get really annoying after awhile, but this one is mellow and never gets old.

The artist used the identical recording of tropical birdsongs from his Tropical Rain Forest cd; overlaid it with a new musical soundtrack; and gave it a new name! Together these are jarring sounds. There are better cd's of bird recording than what you'll find on this re-tread.

I bought this CD as I had read about it on the Quaker Website. I thought it would relax my quaker parrot and 3 cockatiels. It had quite the opposite effect - they spent the whole time screaming at the bird sounds. Still, it did achieve something - the birds were entertained! Great music for both birds and humans.
