Enthusiastic, high energy describes my sweet Aussie puppy, and listening to Relaxation Music Vol 1 I watched him fall into deep REM sleep - and the feat is repeatable.

Other relaxation music stimulated him. This music relaxes him - now THAT represents a five star endorsement.

Thank you, Janet Marlow, for researching dogs' hearing and for your mastery in music! I am so happy to provide a gift of relaxation for my puppy who provides such joy for me.

I have two cats and two puppies that love to listen to this CD over and over day or night. There are a lot of interesting noises within the music that are very pleasant and calming to animals and no loud annoying sounds or voices to scare them.

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because in some sections it is as if she is telling a story and my dogs don't seem to engage as much or connect with those sections. Otherwise I have observed that they become chilled out and relaxed in the musical portions of the cd.

This CD does a good job on my pets. Also brings some joy to me as well. nothing to good for our pets I believe.

I'd previously purchased the Zen Dog kit by the same woman, and really liked the music, but the CD was not very long. This one is much longer and more complex music. I don't know if it truly relaxes my dogs, but it sure doesn't bother them, and I feel good about leaving it on when I have to go out. I really recommend it, esp. to dog sitters, kennels, and shelters-- those dogs are under enough stress!

My dogs love the music! No, I don;t think they are any calmer. But they dance.

I put this music on before I leave and then my dogs settle right down. It is soothing and it helps cover some of the neighborhood noises. It works!

I wish I had had a chance to listen to this CD before I bought it, or at least a 30 second clip. I don't play the piano but I could have made this CD. It did not relax my dog and I think he hated the music just as much as I did.
