About the Author

David Zemach-Bersin and Mark Reese, Ph.D., are co-founders of Sensory Motor Learning Systems and creators of the Relaxercise system. They present workshops and lead specialized training programs for health professionals and businesses throughout the world.

David Zemach-Bersin is former president of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America. He and his wife Kaethe, and three daughters live in Berkeley, California, where he teaches and conducts a private practice.

Dr. Reese has published, numerous articles on health and psychology. He and his wife Donna, and two children live in San Diego, California, where he conducts a private practice in the Feldenkrais Method.

Kaethe Zemach-Bersin is the designer, illustrator, and co-author of Relaxercise. She lives in Berkeley, California, with her husband and daughters.

I've read Amazon reviews for years, but never bothered to write one. I have to write a review of this book to tell people how wonderful it is. I own many Feldenkrais books, and this one takes first prize for ease of use and effectiveness. It really works! The instructions are so simple and well-illustrated - and the exercise so short and easy to do - you'll never want to stop doing them. Look, the proof is in the pudding, and I've used this book religiously for over 6 months! It has helped straighten my scoliosis and I feel, move and look like a brand new person. Please, if you don't like it, send it back, but spend the money if you're at all interested in learning about the brilliant Feldenkrais method. It'll be the best $15 you ever spend. It was for me.

This set of exercises has been the only thing that has proved beneficial to my trigeminal neuralgia. On days when I could not do even yoga; when I could not even brush my teeth, my Feldenkrais exercises were what helped relax and reorient my muscles so that I could function.

Easy, relaxing, you can do some of these exercises anywhere--even in the choir loft or on the train--with nobody knowing but yourself, and the benefits are noticeable immediately, but progressive. I love this book!

I found this book practical and beneficial. I had noticeable improvements in posture, back, neck and shoulder pain, on practising just 2 of the chapters in this book. Recommended highly.
