This is simply some of the green pellet fertilizer you can get at any garden center, not what the picture shows. The picture gives the impression that this is the bone-meal pellet mixture that is special for bonsai, but it is NOT. Don't waste your money. I could have gotten 5lb. of this same stuff for what I paid for this tiny little ziploc bag. Total rip-off.

This product arrived before the expected date but had no instructions and the package was quite small - no weight or size mentioned in the information description. I contacted the vendor and was told to use once per month and a few grains in each corner. This product needs more user information in writing and application for various Bonsai plant variations.

I bought this along with some other things from this supplier. This is quality fertilizer, brought my old tree back from the edge. Definitely seems to be doing the new tree some good too. Like the color, blends in with the soil better.

This is the same type of Bonzai fertilizer I have been using for my other plants which work quite well. However, the actual product does not match with the product picture as the pellets are a mix of various ingredients (not of the same yellowish color). The package only weights 3.6 oz as opposed to the 4 oz as advertised.

Although the instructions stated using 1/4 teaspoon, it also depends on the surface area of the plant. I needed to use 1 teaspoon for my larger bonsai plant.

I got this from LousBonzai on the assurance that this is the very best for my Mount Fuji Serissa. It looks a little different than the picture, but the supply will probably last around 2-3 years. Instructions were included for my order and I am satisfied.

I am sure that a general fertilizer is the same, but the product I received is green, not brown as pictured. I also think the size is incorrect.

On my original purchase I was asked how I liked the product and stated that the picture was misleading,,at least to me.I thought the picture was representing a larger size packet,it's probably 2 oz. ,a lot if rated by the pound, which most fertilizer is sold by.ANY way,I get flooded by the company s P.R. s people (not Amazon's) with phone calls trying to get a good review. The service was great and delivery times right on,and they promised me several bags of the stuff to make me happy,,,which I still haven't received after 2 weeks. And they still haven't changed the picture size, which is still misleading to seniors, who are mostly the people going to buying Bonsai fertilizer.Sorry to the guy who kept calling,,the owner ,of a small start up, but you've changed nothing and promised me the sun, moon, and stars....Good for Amazon to be on these guys for protecting the buyers.,,,,Amazons customers

The photo on the item description does not match what you actually get. Is waaaaayyyyyy less. So make sure you pay attention to the quantity you are buying. I recommend it.
