As I began re-reading Bill Johnson's latest book, "Release the Power of Jesus" I received a request to send in a review. That says a lot about this book. There is just too much substance for just one reading. It is overwhelming; sometimes seeming unattainable.
I do so much want to release the power of Jesus. I want more than anything to be like Jesus. Bill gives me some very practical and realistic information.

"The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophesy." This verse from Revelation reveals one of the primary purposes behind declaring the works of God among man. By doing so we open up the possibility of the miracle in the testimony being duplicated. When we learn this, we discover how rich our inheritance is in God and how to release His power into the world. Learn how the testimony can become a part of a Revival Culture. If we embrace this supreme value, the written or spoken record of God will become a weapon that has the potential of transforming the cities we live in.

You can't help but grow in God if you read Bill Johnson's books. His church in Redding, CA is under an awesome anointing right now for revelation and miracles. Bill takes what God's telling that church and gives it to all of us through books like this. Here he tells how dwelling on the Lord's miracles and spreading word of them will reproduce them -- it births faith in the hearts of those who hear and then they can lay claim to such miracles themselves. Great, meaty teaching that'll excite and grow you.

Bill Johnson is a great author and a passionate man of God. If you want to see some miracles on video get the dvd "Finger of God" Bill and his church are featured on this DVD and actual miracles do take place. Members of his church visit the emergency rooms on Friday and Saturday nights instead of bars an wait for opportunities to pray for people for healing.

Awesome book. Bill explains some things that has been hidden the Word of God that I have not seen before, (1) Testimonies prophesy God's intent and nature to all who will hear [pg. 18], (2) The Church has left the riches of Heaven sitting in the bank but we should spend it here to save the lost, (3) Heaven is not just a future reality but that like the pattern of the Lords Prayer it should be todays reality, (3) The deep purpose of salvation is to spread salvation to others, otherwise we do not progress beyond the revelation of us as sinners. Salvation gives us power of God to bring those to salvation.

It is through the miracles that people truely see the mercy and grace that God has for us. We must walk in these miracles and do the very thing that Christ command us to do.

There is a war but not over power, land or money, it is over our mind. When we believe a lie we empower the enemy. This book is in line with John 14:12 that if we believe in Him, these things that He (Jesus) does, we will do also.

Jesus being revealed in the scriptures says in John 14:10 that The Father who dwells in Me does the works. The Word confirmed His Son and His Son confirmed the Word, therefore we can know the Word but not activate it by not doing what the disciples and Jesus have done.

This book shows us what the Word says in who we are and what God wants to do through us. It also shows us that we must be in relationship with Him and He will reveal Himself to us and through us.

I am still halfway through the book. I highly recommend it if you ever question how far God wants you to believe what God will do in your life or for others.

Bill Johnson shares a prophetic understanding of a move of God. Nothing like has been written before; clearly God has anointed his understanding with revelation and wisdom. It is a book that every Christian should read and a must for the clergy. It ought to be required reading in all seminaries.

This is an amazing book. Bill is a great Pastor, teacher and author. This book was truth from his heart. He lives what he writes.

Bill Johnson's writing is inspirational with a capital "I". This book is no exception. But... I give this book only 4 stars because it's quite wordy, and therefore the comprehension level is rather steep. For those who choose this as the first of Bill Johnson's books to read, please don't be put off by the heavy writing style. The message is truly worth the effort. And by the way, his other books are much easier.

Book makes you stop and think about the way you view Jesus. A recommended read.

WOW! This is the second book by Bill Johnson that I have read and it is truly life changing!!! If We can all accept and understand the power provided by Christ through our own testimony and His indwelling spirit, then we can take a step closer to being more like the one who gives us strength, power, courage, and love to manuever through life! This book, along with Johnson's other book; When Heaven Invades Earth, is truly a must read for every person claiming to follow Christ.
