Great tunes, September 5, 2007

I actually was at a movie theater waiting for the film to start and listening to piped in pre-show tunes when I heard a song that really caught my ear. It was terrific. I made sure to pay attention after it ended to hear the DJ give the name of the singer. Lisa Palleschi. I wrote it down when I got back to my car and went looking for it where I usually buy CDs but no store carried it. I was lucky to get it on Amazon because it is a terrific CD. I'd rank it up there with some of the work of Martina McBride and Sara Evans and Shania Twain. Normally I wouldn't buy a CD by an artist I hadn't heard before based on a single cut, but this time it paid off. Some wonderful tunes. I listen to it while I work.
