Book Description

Temptation, 841 August 1, 2001
From the back cover-- SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WANTED... Wealthy Pamela Bradford is determined to lose her virginity, one way or another. Only, when her plan to seduce her faithless fiance backfires, she figures she might as well enjoy the sensual, decadent honeymoon she'd arranged--even if she has to go alone. Then she finds herself in the arms of sexy Ken McBain--and decides to put her seduction plan back into action...

AND SHE WANTED HIM... One minute Ken McBain is comforting Pamela on the beach. The next he's on a plane bound for The Little Love Nest, a no-holds-barred honeymoon resort! And as much as he wants Pamela--really, really wants her--he's determined not to take advantage of her situation. Only, he hasn't counted on Pamela's determination to be his woman--in every sense of the word!

From the Author

Dear Reader, What could be more irresistible to a woman than coming across a gorgeous single man whose eyes tell her how much he wants her? That's the dilemma facing Pamela Bradford on what should have been the worst night of her life. A bride without a groom, a woman who's spent her entire life denying her sensual nature, she's now ready to indulge in her wildest fantasies. And sexy Ken McBain is just the man with whom she'd like to indulge.

Ken, however, just wants to look after Pamela. Sure, his libido kicks into high gear every time he's around her, but as far as he's concerned, there's going to be no sex!

It's going to take some serious convincing--in a resort that promises to "wash away every inhibition"--for Pamela to change his mind. Let's just say she's "relentless" in her pursuit.

This is my first HEAT novel for Temptation, and I've had a lot of fun writing it. Where else could I have come up with a resort like The Little Love Nest--a resort with round beds, mirrored ceilings, suggestive statuary, and a hostess named Madame Mona. I think I like pushing the envelope. I might just have to try it again.

I'd love to hear what you think of Pamela and Ken's amorous adventures. You can write to me at P.O. Box 410787, Melbourne, FL 32941-0787, or e-mail me: lkelly@lesliekelly.com

Enjoy! Leslie Kelly

When I'm not chained to my keyboard writing, I'm enjoying my life with my husband of 25 years and our three daughters. Let me tell you, raising three girls has been way more challenging than publishing romance fiction!

5.0 out of 5 stars Delightfully wicked -- Very highly recommended, August 1, 2001
This review is from: Relentless (Heat) (Temptation, 841) (Paperback)
When Pamela Bradford stuffs herself into a cake, complete with pasties and a g-string, little does she suspect that she's going to receive as big of a surprise as her fiancé. With her father's employees at attendance, girl friends promise to empty the room of everyone but fiancé Peter, allowing Pamela opportunity to finally consummate their relationship. Instead, she pops out of the cake, when she realizes that she's about to become the "wife of an ... moron" whose conspiracy with her father makes her see red.

Pamela's relentless honesty doesn't tolerate dishonesty, meaning that Peter's comments while she was concealed infuriate her. When she emerges from the cake "like a vengeful goddess," Ken couldn't resist the glory of her last parting gesture. Following Pamela to the beach and covering her with his jacket, he doesn't confess to witnessing the fiasco of a bachelor party. Rather, he listens to her vent, and eventually takes Pamela home.

The following day, when Ken takes the seat on the plane next to her, Pamela is stunned. She apparently invited him on the "honeymoon" and in her drunken state, forgot. As he baits her, teases her, and challenges her, Pamela finds herself falling for the gorgeous man accompanying her to "The Little Love Nest," where she should have been honeymooning with Peter. Now Ken somehow must admit that their encounter on the beach was anything but chance, or confront Pamela's relentless honesty himself.

Leslie Kelly is a master of amusing contemporary romance. Blending hot, sensual ... moments with the best of romance, RELENTLESS will tantalize and titillate the romance reader, providing the perfect romantic escape. Kelly's wickedly fun imagination gives the impossible a believable tale that's too good too miss! Very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoy this summer's #1 "heat" wave, August 13, 2001

Leslie Kelly's done it again! For those who love comedy Relentless is a must read. The laughs never stop in this light, upbeat story of a young woman anxious to experience the sensual delights of her honeymoon while hoping to lose the one thing gauranteed to keep her from finding it. Her virginity!

Old and new fans alike will be thrilled with the fast pace and witty dialogue that carries the reader through from page one. If you like romance, great humor and steamy love scenes then look no further. Watch out Susan Anderson and Kasey Micheals. You've got some major competition ladies!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed this book, August 3, 2011
This review is from: Relentless (Heat) (Kindle Edition)
This was the second Leslie Kelly book that I have read. I also read Slow Hands, which I really enjoyed. With Relentless, I did enjoy the physical tension that Ms. Kelly seems to be very good at delivering. It was hard for me to put down, and I read it in one day. Many times the sexual tension was so high that I found myself squirming. One thing that I was disappointed with was that when Ken finally did submit to Pamela, it did not exactly live up to all of the tension that was created leading up to it. Overall I really enjoyed this one, and am actually trying to decide which Leslie Kelly book to read next. This is definitely worth reading.
