This small book by Maureen McQuerry is enchanting. The title of the first poem is "Opulence" and the word describes the treasury of imagery, lyricism, and artistry in her poetry. McQuerry's poems are at once tender and personal, and yet universal. Keep this book on your night stand and read it in the quiet of the late night.

For anyone who loves skillful interweaving of words, cadence, and imagery. Relentless Light is a lovely volume of poetry. Maureen Doyle McQuerry's ability to see and relate beauty in nature, family, and everyday "ordinary" life creates a wonderful and worthwhile magic.
