5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!!
I LOVE this ironing table!

For my business, I am often faced with the challenge of pressing full bolts of fabric and my previous ironing board left me frustrated EVERY time. Now, I can unfold the entire 43/44" width of my fabrics and press the entire width without having to adjust for the maddening pointy tip. This saves me so much time and effort...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's not really worth the money!
I bought this about a year ago and I use it every day for my business but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it at this price. Although it is big and makes ironing easier, the attachment is not sturdy, it wobbles which I find very annoying and I don't think it's better quality than the $90 ones, is just bigger. The cover is cheap, I had to make a sturdier one myself. I...

This saves me so much time and effort!

The pad that comes with it is very nice and thick; it does not leave impressions in the cotton fabrics I am pressing. I recently purchased a Reiliable IronMaven J490A steam press, which fits nicely on the end of the board designed to hold an iron. As I am pressing long pieces of fabric, I use the wire shelf underneath it to catch the fabric and keep it from landing on the floor. It's just a great design!

The only issue I'm having is very minor and not worthy of a reduction in my 5-star rating. The extension used to square off the end will slip off the track a little bit if I am not careful when I move the board or when I fold it up. This is a very small price to pay for all the advantages of this ironing table.

I HIGHLY recommend this product!

This is a very sturdy ironing board. I love the attachment to make it square at the end. I had an old mary proctor that was my mothers ironing board that was the same way. It makes it very easy to iron shirts, you can iron each side of the shirt without doing it in sections.

This is a wonderful, sturdy board. I really like the large size. Wish it had an "bo nash ironside cover" instead of the cotton one.

Great product. Excellent quality. My only complaint, is that the cover/covers need to be thicker !!!
Then there is one other thing I wish could be changed... that the rack at the end of the board was removable. The cord always gets caught up in the top rack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful for blocking knitted items, October 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When blocking a large knitted item, such as an afghan or wrap, the tapered end of a regular ironing board is a problem. This longboard, with the extension that makes it rectangular in shape, is exactly what is needed. I have blocked several large items on it since getting it, and I recommend it highly for any serious knitter. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy.

Even though this board is pricey it is sturdy and the added feature to make the ironing board rectangular makes pressing quilt tops a breeze

5.0 out of 5 stars You either need an ironing board or you don't..., January 28, 2011

If you do, you need a solid one that will last, not a piece of junk from a big box store. I wanted one sturdy enough to lean on if I wanted, with a heavy but vented top and a thick cover. And I wanted this to be the last one I ever buy. This model, with the extension to make it a rectangle (which I consider a permanent installation) is perfect for ironing fabric, drying knit pieces, even a sleeping cat on occasion. It's a lot to pay. but it just proves that "you get what you pay for".

5.0 out of 5 stars Just right, January 28, 2011

I would recommend the long board to those who iron bed linens.Ironing sheets for my bed and breakfast is now a breeze. The longboard pared with my Rowenta Professional steam iron are the perfect combination.A must have for my B and B.My friends volunteer eagerly to help me with the Ironing! I have created a place for ironing so I can leave the board setup. It is a bit heavy to be moving it in and out of the closet.
My friends That appreciate crisp sheets are purchasing this board. Are we crazy here in Ohio? Love it!
