This is great for tile and bare floors. Got it because I didn't want to use chemical cleaners on the floor for pet safety and I like the ease of use. Triangular head makes getting into corners and behing the toilet easy. Well made too as I have had mine for over a year and it's still like brand new. Just remember to fill with hot tap water and invert over the sink to allow a few drops to drip and then insert water canister onto the machine, plug in for a few minutes to allow for extra water heating and use. Toss the pad in the washing machine after use and you are ready to use again. Saves on detergents and leaves no soapy or sticky reesidue to attract new dirt. I love it!

This product should make you throw all your other mops AWAY! It is quick and convenient and it cleans far better and quicker than any manual product. Your hand never touches any water and the heat the mop provides ensures that the surface will be cleaner than anything you might hand mop. Can't imagine ever using any other type of mop after my experience with this one.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas this year. The top leaks really bad. I plan on sending it back soon. I purchased a Bissell for myself and love it. This one was rated high so I thought this would be better. Not!

I've had this device for about four months. I like it. I had been using a mop to clean the tile and found that it takes about two moppings before the mop starts to shred (porcelain tile). Then if you don't vacuum immediately, the pieces get tracked onto carpeted or area rug. I don't have that problem with the steamer. I gave it 4 stars, simply because I haven't used it to the point of having to replace the cleaning pad (which I just toss into the washer when finished), or anything else on it. Plus it doesn't tick off my Yorkie when I use it as the mop did.

I've had a problem with the cloth pads coming off while steam cleaning - you have to be careful putting the pad back on since it's very hot! This is disappointing & inconvenient! Plus the cord is too short & you can't go very far without an extension cord.
