I have bought this device to monitor my home here in Alaska when we're gone. What better does this device get tested then here in the Last Frontier? I can tell you it gets the job done and does everything a basic freeze alarm needs to do. It monitors my home power and temperature. It has a connection for a flood sensor you can probably add later (not included). I like the clear instructions and easy setup of the device. There is a video setup available on their website. I have programmed 3 phone numbers in the device that will first call me and after that two other family members if I do not answer. I would recommend this device to my fellow Alaskans and everybody else who needs to monitor their home during the winter months. Amazon has the lowest price and free shipping to Alaska! Something other merchants could learn from.

I would highly recommend this product. I have been having a furnace problem and I frequently travel. After my furnace stopped and I found my house at 38 degrees, I purchased it. It has gone off twice in the last 2 weeks. It will call up to 3 phone numbers and will keep trying until it gets a response. It will not just leave a message at the first number it calls. It will continue to call until someone responds. Now I just have to hope my furnace is finally fixed right. A lot better than the freeze alarms you have to call. Just plug it in and it was easy to program. It has a battery backup and it will call you if the power goes out.

The THP201 is well made, simple to program, works as stated and priced right. I've tested for both power out and low temp and have confirmed the proper operation.
