Great Concept, Doesn't Function,
By Mom22Gifts (Galloway, OH) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Reliance Products Flushable Loo Toilet (Sports)
I love the idea of the disposable waste bags (and the bags are very nice); however, this toilet has some major design flaws. Out of the box, it would not flush. We thought maybe we didn't add enough water so we filled it to the top. Nothing. The pump valve leaked water around it and nothing ever came into the bowl. We really wanted a flush camping toilet but this was not the one.

Works OK,

Worked OK. Removing and disposing of the used bags is undoubtedly preferable to emptying the other type of holding tank. It does leak by the pump and I would suggest putting the cover down when flushing, so as to avoid being splashed; or pump slowly. Protect flooring if using indoors. Be sure to buy the larger bags as the smaller ones do not fit this toilet. Recommend using Bio-blue in fresh water and enough Bio Gel in disposal bags to avoid spills.

The hose wants to slide back inside the reservoir tank,
By
This review is from: Reliance Products Flushable Loo Toilet (Sports)
Please refer to my posted photos of the upper part of the tank. This is the replacement part I received for my first toilet not flushing correctly. This is the tube from the water pump to the inside of the toilet. This comes loose during shipping and falls inside the water reservoir tank. I was able to grab this tube with a long flat screw driver and needle nose pliers. The second photo shows that I was able to pull the hose through the opening with a pull string. Since this was my replacement part I was determined to fix this item. This photo shows the tools I used to fix this item. Degree of Difficulty: Extremely Difficult. I am a Manufacturing Engineer that has dealt with Chinese products for years. This hose still wants to slide back inside the reservoir tank, I recommend adding silicone chalking to the connection.
Pros- this is a large size toilet that is great for camping. It does work well when fixed correctly. Holds more than enough water. Easy to lift when full. Good customer service.
