What a piece of music. Gorgeous Celtic lines with an amazing combination of Voice, Uileann pipes and soprano sax. A must buy!

Brilliant contemporary classical music. A wonderful performance skillfully performed.
If you are tired of listening to the same old classics by dead composers, try this. As good if not better than any composer dead or alive.

Commissioned to celebrate the Tercentenary of the Siege of Derry, the composer Shaun Davey paints an extraordinary picture of the 105 day seige in 1689. One need not know the actual history of the seige to visualize the events portrayed. This recording is a must for anyone who enjoys Aaron Copeland's Fanfare for a Modern Man or Tchiachovsky's 1812 Symphony.
