I purchased this book to help in my research for a college thesis project and it was a tremendous asset. As well-written as you could ask for from this sort of subject matter, very thorough, and a useful bibliography as well. Probably not terribly interesting for a casual reader, but it's a must for anyone more than superficially interested in this specific topic.
