4.0 out of 5 stars Survey of religions that doesn't promote one over the other, nor religiousness in general, November 1, 2007
By
This review is from: Religions of the World (Hardcover)
I was impressed with the pictures, the matter-of-fact tone, and the distribution of info (ancients, moderns, and with the major religions of today given extra pages...but all scrupulously equal in importance).
Finally, a book that addresses religion as part of mankind, not above all the other parts of mankind. Unless you are threatened by teaching a religion other than your own, I can't see anything offensive to believer or non-believer.
