Great for anyone interested in learning about other religions,

I picked up this book while on vacation last year, and found it to be a wonderful read. It gives a great argument to encourage everyone to learn about other religions throughout the world. The glossary of terms which makes up the last third of the book was probably the most informative part of the book, providing definitions to most religious terms that can be found in any news reports describing the religious conflicts or any news reports associated with any religion around the world. Really helped to better understand the conflicts the US has gotten involved in the Middle East. Whether you are a person of faith, looking to better understand the difference between your faith and others, or someone who is simply interested in learning about the different cultures around the world, I would highly recommend this book.

I bought this book for my seminal training and found it to be very thought provoking. It is well organized and is relevent to today's tense religious atmosphere, and I recommend this book to any student of religion, whether that be in a university setting or private study.

I saw this book on the spotlight and noticed it didn't have any reviews, so I thought I'd write one. We're using it for a religion class I'm taking at a university. We've only gone through the first few chapters so far, but it's very interesting. I'm learning a lot from it, both good things and bad. I usually sell my college texts back after the classes are finished, but I'll be keeping this one!
