It is a good basic book, but does not have any of the new powders that have come on the market in the last 12 years.

I read this book from cover to cover and found it extremely informative and detailed in almost all aspects of this hobby. However, I felt it should have had a color shotshell identification section. Otherwise, it was great reading.

This book not only covers a great deal of info on reloading, it has the most extensive array of loads for every shooting need. This book is a must for any handloader from beginner to long time expert

This is a very good book for even the experienced reloader. It's data format is the best I have seen, very easy to read and is well layed out. The only area it is lacking is it's load data is relativly limited, i suggest purchasing the lyman 4th edition book along with this book.

This should be the first book you purchase. No matter how many other books you have on reading you will find this book most valuable.

I have reloaded over 50,000 rounds for hand guns, and have not looke in a reloading book for years. I am new to reloading to shotguns. I am very glad I purchased this book. I have read it cover to cover and it is a constant reference for me. I also recommend; The Complete Book of Shotgunning Games if you are interested in that.

Good introductory book for shotgun shell reloading.
For powders and loads, I would buy a more advanced book.

I started dabbling into shot shell reloading and found that I needed alot more info. This book provided it in a manner that was easy to understand.
