The Second Best by JB!,
This review is from: The Reluctant Fiancee (Hardcover)
Hey, most of Diana Palmer's books R also full of much older men & much youger women, but they work! Otherwise, she'd not have become 1 of America's most famous best-selling authors! This one's my most favorite 1 of JB's after "Marriage at His Convenience"! This one is full of unusual plots & steamy scenes, & one of very few romance books that I've ever purchased even after reading'em for free several times(borrowed from our local library...) before!

One of Jacqueline Baird's Best,

This review is from: The Reluctant Fiancee (Hardcover)
Jacqueline Baird is without a doubt one of HP best writers. I borrowed several of her older books from a friend and just finished, The Reluctant Fiancee which I thoroughly enjoyed. Now I'm going to try and obtain a copy for myself. It was so funny and sexy and I absolutely loved the hero and heroine. Despite the age difference (15 years) the sparks lit up the pages. Awesome job Ms. Baird!

The Reluctant Fiancee,

I agree with another posting in regards to this book. It literally made my skin crawl, I found the 'hero' to be creepy and predatory. As a guardian, seemed that he had pounced on the poor girl before she had a chance to grow up. Since reading this book I have made a point to stay away from any books by the same author so I can't compare it to her other offerings.
