influence in music,
By Milo Archreach (Grantham PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Remaking the Past: Tradition and Influence in Twentieth-Century Music (Hardcover)
A terrific guide through the process of influence in the musical arts! This book focuses on the ways in which post-Romanticists escaped the grasp of the preceding musical eras while still remaining (or choosing to remain) trapped under their shadow. The book is worth the first two chapters alone.
