Great printer for the price,

This printer received the "Editor's Choice" rating from PC Magazine in the spring of 2004. I purchased one a year ago and have been extremely pleased. I had previously used HP and Epson printers and still have an HP 1200 at the office. I was concerned that a printer that was this inexpensive (I think I paid $150 on sale last year) and that quite frankly seemed a bit flimsier than the HPs would not function well. Since the HP I wanted was around $300, I got this one.
I've been delighted with this. I am using this for text printing, but I do print large PDF files of journal articles. I've been very pleased with how fast this printer handles my JSTOR (journal article) printing. Much faster than my old HP. I'm going to buy a refurbished one for my parents now, rather than go for a more recent model. Highly recommended. |
