Excellent printer,

The printer was given to me by a client who did not want the cost of replacing the drum/toner as he was unaware a generic was available.(He bought another brands colour lazer and hated it from day 1.) After replacing the drum and toner it worked very well. I just had a jam and the repair shop told me it was still in excellent condition (again needs a replacement drum) and that despite being 10 years old it was more than worth fixing. Well the found the jam and cleaned the machine. It runs better than ever. I would recommend HIGHLY anyone in the market for a high quality lazer printer to get a BROTHER product. While this particular model is no longer made I have yet to see or use a poor product made by Brother. They are durable and workhorses! I am in an office where we needed a new copier. After buying another brand and being very unhappy we got a new Brother MFC8480DN and it does all it is in tended to an more. Anyone in the market for a copier cant go wrong.It is also a FAX machine and scanner. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a full 10!
