Uniden's DXAI5188-2 cordless phone system offers a wealth of features including 5.8 GHz technology, an integrated digital answering machine, caller ID with call waiting capability, and an additional handset. The DXAI5188-2 requires only one phone jack for operation. Simply plug the main base unit into a phone jack, and the extra handset will configure itself to "talk" wirelessly with the base unit. All call features are accessed through the phone system's handsets, including last number redial, call transfer between handsets, and convenient volume control. Each handset has a three-line backlit LCD for displaying caller information and for access to saved numbers, both of which are available even while you're taking another call. Information and menus can be displayed in your choice of English, French, or Spanish. Handsets are also compatible with most hearing aids and headsets. The base unit and charging cradle are desk or wall mountable.
