It also supplies a quick-draw Telescope Reach wand for cleaning stairs, drapes, upholstery, and more.
The vacuum cleaner uses Root Cyclone technology to separate dirt from the air by centrifugal force, which ensures efficient cleaning with no clogging or loss of suction. For cleaner expelled air, the unit comes with a washable lifetime HEPA filter that traps microscopic allergens such as pollen and bacteria. In fact, the air expelled from a Dyson has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you breathe, and all Dyson uprights are certified asthma friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. The unit's hygienic bin quickly empties without ever having to touch the dust--just press the button and dust empties from the bottom; the clear polycarbonate bin also allows for easily viewing the cleaning progress and gauging when it needs to be emptied. The vacuum cleaner measures approximately 13-2/3 by 15-3/5 by 44 inches.

I owned the original yellow dyson, and used it for 2 or more years and never had a problem with it .I then moved to a small place with laminate floors, and my post lady always wanted a Dyson so gave it to her.
I just moved into a very large 4 bedroom home that is mostly carpets so went to Big lots and picked up a large 12amp Dirt devil vision turbo vacuum, its very loud so you think it powerful so I vacuumed the whole house the day before my arrived. It arrived in perfect condition you cant even tell it been a refurbished , it was easy to put together and i could not wait to test it, when i turned it on it was quiet, my first thought was oh boy i hope it cleans well, I cleaned just the living room and to my surprise it was almost half full with cat hair and dirt, yes dirt after i used the dirt devil. I then went to the kitchen were i had spilled some rice from the pantry, i clicked the button and turned the power head off and did the floor. The ball is awesome was not sure about it but love it :) The dirt canister is very easy to empty and reinstall on the vacuum I don't even need to put on my glasses to do it. This is one amazing machine I will be keeping this for a long time. I would buy this again from Amazon in a heartbeat! UPDATE: Now almost a month later I dont see how i ever lived without it, the handle removes with a touch from the body, if you don't need the reach, you can use just the hose for cars or boats. This is the Best vacuum I have ever owned hands down. Its amazing on cat hair as we have two cats it picks it up and when you see how much you will be amazed. Having the ability to switch off the brush is great you can pick up all kind of things even cat litter. 5 Month update: Still works perfect, no problems at all, the very best Vacuum I ever owned. It is so easy to empty thats the part I love most.
