This review is from: Remanufactured IBM T30 2366-21U THINKPAD Notebook Computer (P4-1.6 256/20/DVD/56K/NIC/14.1/W2000) (Personal Computers)
This product is great. I don't mind that it is used. However, when I got it it could not boot up. Something bout no OS (operating system) available. It didn't bother me because I was going to junk the win2000 NT professional OS that came with this laptop anyway. So I installed a WinXP home ed OS I it worked perfectly.

This review is from: Remanufactured IBM T30 2366-21U THINKPAD Notebook Computer (P4-1.6 256/20/DVD/56K/NIC/14.1/W2000) (Personal Computers)
Arrived in very good condition, had obviously been thoroughly reconditioned, though there was one problem (below).

Pluses: solid, well-made corporate-class computer (the T-series has titanium cases). Relatively thin and light for a heavy-duty computer.

Great keyboard with dual-pointing devices: trackpad and trackpoint mini-stick, and the buttons for both devices have excellent tactile feedback.

Screen is clear and bright, though somewhat cool (slightly bluish)

Minuses: USB plugs are on the back - not very convenient for plugging in a USB key.

Battery life is only about 1-1/2 hours.

Would I buy again? Yes, definitely. I got a like-new ThinkPad for the price of a no-name with a plastic case.

One word of caution: my first T30 was defective (bad power switch I think), but Amazon replaced it quickly. I noticed another reviewer received a T30 with a different problem - Maybe IBM needs to check them more closely before shipping them out?
