Remanufactured Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 4-Megapixel Digital Camera with Anti-Shake 12x Optical Zoom

Love the camera, but it arrived without the 16M SD memory card and no batteries as advertized.

The camera came bubble wrapped in a tiny box without the company logo on it. Looked a bit suspicious to me, but the box contained everything except for batteries and a memory card (as stated in the description).

I loaded the camera with new batteries (four regular AA-batteries) and a 1GB Secure Digital memory card. Downloaded the most recent firmware update from the Konica Minolta webpage (version 1.3 - the camera came loaded with version 1.2). I then tried most of the functions and they all worked great!

I have used five other digital cameras and the Z3 doesn't really measure up to the competition when it comes to picture quality, but the stabilized 12x zoom, the absolutely fantastic movie-mode and the price (!) makes this a must-buy!

I've been disappointed at some points and excited at others with this camera.

Whenever I use it in poor lighting or indoors, the autofocus has major difficulty. I cannot capture any movement unless the lighting conditions are perfect.

However, when it's a nice day outside, my Dimage z3 gives me better pictures than I've ever experienced. Ultra-fast autofocus, antishake, with crisp, clear lines and great colors are easy to get outside.

Overall, I've been very happy. Lots of options, quick startup, and very lightweight.

I do not know why there are so many negative reveiws for this Camera. I absolutely love the Minolta Z3, it takes great pictures if you take the time to learn to use it. The camera I recived was in great shape, no blemishes whatsoever. I got the camera to replace a Canon A60, which was slow to auto focus. The Minolta Dimage Z3 focuses extremly fast and has no shutter lag whatsoever. Which makes the Dimage Z3 great for taking sports and wildlife photos. The only way I could afford a camera of this caliber, was to buy it refurbished, and it worked out great for Me.

I'm very happy with the camera. The 12x zoom is very important to me, because I have a small daughter and it's impossible to take pictures when she's dancing in the stage using a regular 3x optical zoom. With this 12x zoom, I'll be able to get pictures. The fast Auto Focus is also important to take pictures from a small kid who can't wait more than few seconds to take a picture.

The viewfinder is not optical like most cameras. We have a LCD screen inside. When you use the view finder, you'll be able to see the picture much better than using the LCD in the back.

The stabilizer is great. It's incredible to see it working. As soon you press the shot-button just a little, to adjust the focus, you can notice the stabilized image in the view-finder. The results are very good.

Other important point: the movie. It's 30 fps 640x480 movie. It's almost the same quality of a actual camcorder. You can buy many 512/1GB SD cards ($20 each of 512 here at Amazon) and leave your camcorder at home, doing everything with this camcorder.

I can't tell much about the battery life because I'm not using this camera for more than 1 week. But, compared to my old Olympus D560, this new camera seems to be better, using less battery.

The one I ordered is this refurbished. No complains. Much cheaper, comes with a paper from Konica Minolta and is working very well.

No memory card, no arc photo cds, and no batteries included despite the description that they would come with it....
What's up with that?????? I did get a credit for the missing parts and went out and got my own stuff..... BUT, this should not have happened! I'll think twice before buying anything like this again.

I've been using this camera for almost 2 years. This is really a great outdoor camera. The 12x zoom, the image stabilization work really great. The picture quality is very nice. The body of the camera is very well designed and is really easy to use. But this camera is really weak when it comes to low light conditions. It fails many a times to focus on the subject. The picture quality, if you manage to take a picture in dark, is really bad.

If only this camera was built with a focus assist lamp, it'd been the best in its range.

We took this camera with us to Southern Africa on safari. We got incredible photos. The camera is easy to use. The only drawback is the software to edit it on your computer is pretty difficult to use.

I have been using this camera for some time now. It takes some of the best pictures ever. The only thing is that it is big not small, and will not fit in your pockect
