Panasonic KX-FL511 Laser Fax Machine offers high-speed 12 ppm laser printing. This capability combined with 600 x 600 dpi resolution results professional-quality for your busy office. Laser fax machines are ideal for broadcasting lengthy documents to multiple locations, as they allow you to store up to 120 pages in a built-in fax memory. With the document memory feature, you can receive a document up to 170 pages long, even if it has run out of paper. You can also choose between standard, fine, super fine, and photo settings.

Features:

• Enhanced Copier Function. Panasonic laser fax machines have a variety of advanced copier functions. You can enlarge up to 200 percent, reduce down to 50 percent, collate, make up to 99 copies from one original, and print with sharp 600 dpi laser quality.
• Caller ID Compatibility. View the name and number of all of your incoming callers (of up to 16-characters) on the LCD readout. You can even print the list for your records. It's a great timesaving feature for both business and personal use.
• Quick Scan. Quickly scan your fax documents into memory, and then send them from memory to the recipient. This saves time otherwise spent waiting for pages to go through individually.
• Broadcasting. Store documents in memory and fax them in succession to multiple locations, avoiding the need for repeating the task manually.
• Distinctive Ring Detection. It's like having up to three telephone numbers on a single line, each with a different ring pattern. This way you can tell who the call is for, simply by the sound of the ring. If you subscribe to a Distinctive Ring service, you can assign phone numbers for personal use, business use, fax use, and so on.
• Extension Line Transfer. If you answer an incoming fax call on a phone that operates on the same line as your fax unit, you can press *9 to take the call on your fax unit.
• Automatic Fax/Phone Switching. Automatically distinguish fax and voice calls, eliminating the need for an extra phone line.
• Jog Dial. Navigate quickly and easily through your phone directory, programming menus, and various copier functions.

I bought this fax for my home since I get some faxes from my job but it does not have all the other features that the "all in one" has, so be careful. It is very fast and prints very high quality prints, this fax machine is perfect for a medium to small business because is strictly a fax machine with all of its features and bit more.

we purchased this machine a couple of years ago to replace the dying fax machine in the office. overall, it has served us well.

it is good for basic faxing out and in.

the only thing that I have found that I do not like is on occasion, it will feed more than one page through at a time when faxing out. this can be troublesome.

it also seems to use quite a bit of toner. but then again, maybe they all do.

for the price, it has served us well in our relatively low fax work environment.

Panasonic KX-FL511 High Speed, up to 12 ppm, Laser Fax/Copier Machine- I purchased this instead of a new one, figuring I would save a few bucks. The unit hasn't worked since day one and we went out to Staples and bought a new Cannon instead. Looks like we're out $120.
