This display with state-of-the-art LCD screen technology has a staggering resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and produces brilliant, flicker-free progressive scan pictures with optimum brightness and superb colors. The vibrant and sharp image will provide you with an enhanced viewing experience, no matter what you're watching.

Crystal Clear III combines a whole range of enhancements to provide a better picture, including a 2D comb filter, dynamic contrast, and blue stretch and green enhancement so you always get the most natural looking colors. The 2D comb filter separates chominance (color) from luminance (brightness) information in the video signal for independent processing. This technology improves picture resolution and minimizes distortion. Philips also delivers exciting and lifelike sound with Incredible Surround audio technology. Incredible Surround dramatically magnifies the sound field to immerse you in audio excitement. Using state-of-the-art electronic phase shifting, this technology mixes sounds from the left and right in such a way that it expands the virtual distance between the two speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the stereo effect and creates a more natural sound dimension. Incredible Surround allows you to experience total surround sound with greater depth and width of sound, but without the use of additional speakers.

Philips packs all of this LCD HDTV technology into a slim, stylish design that is sure to complement any interior. Plus, the compact 20-inch display emphasizes a compact look that saves space and fits anywhere. For advanced performance, the 20PF5320 features DVI-I for the best picture and flexible connectivity. The DVI-I inputs connects the non-compressed, high-bandwidth, digital RGB signal from source to screen. By eliminating the conversion of the digital signals to analog, this connection delivers an unblemished, noise-free image that is crystal clear and flicker-free. The DVI input supports HDCP copy protection that allows viewing of copy protected programs from Digital Setup boxes, DVD players, and HD recorders. DVI-I is future proof because it can be connected to all HDMI devices (a converter cable is required), and it supports analog PC-VGA signals, as well.

This HDTV also delivers great convenience to any household. The 20PF5320 features a PC input that lets you use your TV as a PC monitor. The sound and image quality is good, despite it was a refurbished item.

I had a two little dissapointing surprises: at first glance, I noticed in the front of the tv a large scratch that is annoying; later, I found that new sets like this one where being sold at Sears for the same price ..
