Some mystery solved,

The title of the book hints that Rembrandt's mysteries willbe laid open. Lots of rhetoric but little insight into the whys and wherefores of Rembrandt's art. I guess I was hoping for an analyses of R's painting techniques, methods and recipes instead what I got was more poetry than substance.
