"Remember" is a compilation of two nights of ministry. The first night was recorded in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tornado that devastated Oklahoma City was headed right for us the night we were scheduled to begin our ministry at a local church. At first the church leadership wanted to send everyone to a protected area. I suggested, 'maybe we could sneak a little worship song in before we head to shelter'. They agreed and we began to sing the song, They Will Know We Are Christians By Our Love. When we got into the middle of the song I was led to begin speaking directly to that tornado. I did not want to do this because I could not get past the thought of how stupid I would look speaking against this tornado and then, when the song was over, all of us having to run for our lives to shelter. I was afraid that my words - might just be words -absent the power of God to stop that tornado. But while thinking this very thought I found myself already speaking - it was too late to stop. So it surprised me more than anyone else to later learn that, immediately as we started praying, the tornado system mysteriously broke apart. (How weak my faith is!) God literally stopped a tornado that night as we played and prayed. I hope I never forget it. Yes God can stop a natural tornado. But much more importantly, if we would ask, God will stop the spiritual tornadoes that divide us and render us such an anemic force on the earth. My prayer is that we will 'come to the water', the very love of the Father, and quickly shed the independence that so weakens us. Only then will we be able to take on the radical dependence of a child that was the strength of the early Christians. This is an absolutely fantastic cd! This cd is a collection of live worship that Jason felt the Lord wanted him to release to the body at large. The anointing and power of this time of worship comes through so clearly that it just blew me away. Every time I listen to this cd I gain deeper revelation of the love of the Father. I love Jason's passion for the Lord. Just when I think he is a really anointed worship leader he continues to go even deeper.

The second song is part of Jason's testimony. I really enjoyed it on a number of levels.
First, the power of a testimony is emotive and speaks to the glory of the Lord. Second, his testimony also spoke to me about the depth of the Father's love for this hurting generation.

What really stuck out to me in the rest of the songs was the return to child likeness that God is longing for in each of us. There is such a freedom in this dependence on God.

Although I love all of Jason Upton's worship, I am especially enthralled with this new cd, not because of who Jason is, but because of who he connects me with in his intimate worship music. I highly recomend this cd, infact get a couple and share them with others :)

With Jason Upton, one is constantly feeling that every cd surpasses the last one. THis is certainly the case with "Remember". This cd is a live cd, and while "Faith" is good, this one is much, much better.

This cd contains a message that the Body at large needs to hear and pay attention to. Enough with the forms and religiousity, we just need a relationship with the Father in the innocence of childhood. That's what this cd is all about, and therein lies its strength.

I have never had such an amazing experience with a CD in my life. I really felt the presence of God as I was listening to Jason's music. The Lord is surely using him. I can't recommend this album enough. Fly gave me chills. I have never heard anything like it. Buy this CD and be blessed!
