Wow,
By A Customer
This review is from: Remember Me 3: The Last Story (Mass Market Paperback)
The story is amazingly enlightening...especially for a young adult book. As a formal journalist and a writer myself I felt kinda foolish picking up the first book, Remember Me from my daughters book shelf. The description on the back cover intrigued me and it only took a day to read. Once I realized it was a series I then read the second book. Further compelled to find out how the trilogy ends I bought and read this. Well, I found the trio to be one of the most thought provoking stories I have ever read. Perhaps they are simply entertainment based on a romantic ideal. Perhaps they are more. For me these stories really provided a wonderful comfort to my heart and soul.

I No Longer Fear Death,
By A Customer
This review is from: Remember Me 3: The Last Story (Mass Market Paperback)
Until i read the trilogy (and especially this last book, which brought it all home for me) I had a VERY horrible fear of death, particularily of dying and being alone in darkness for ever or of simply ceasing to exist. This book gave me hope that there is life after death (even if it IS fiction) and made me lean towards the "I believe" side of agnosticism. Pike is a genius -- his books are (for the most part) so deep and spiritual (even though they are in the "young adult" section) and always have a message. By creating books which are fascinating and by writing in an easy and simple style, he is able to convey wisodm to the general population, which is much more likely to read Pike than, say, Descartes or Aristotle. Congratulations.

Exellent job, the best that one could expect from a sequel,

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Remember Me 3, it was great to see the characters from the first two books living on. Also, I found it very interesting that Pike depicted Sheri as an author and also wrote that she wrote many of the stories he did. It kind of made me think about what exactly Pike was trying to tell us. I strongly suggest that any Pike fans read this along with the other two books from the Remember Me trilogy.

This is the best ending this trio could have had. I loved all the characters and I nearly cried when I read the last chapter and the epiloge. This book really summed everything up. I was so happy with it that I stayed up all night to finish it. PLUS!!! The story in the story was very good and would have made a great single book. OH WAIT! There is already a book after "The StarLight Crystal". Well this book is a must for enyone.

Should have stuck with the original,

It was quite hard to believe. By the third book I've become quite annoyed with Peter and all the religion. It was well written, but I liked the first story a lot better. I don't recommend reading 2 and 3. They are slower and boring.

This completes the series of Remember Me. Shari getting a dream of the origins of mankind and the purpose of humanlife; she starts to write a new story due to the dream. This gives the evil creatures even more a purpose to kill her and not wanting the story to be told. Shari has regained her full memory of her other life and looking for the murder of her. She need to get this done before her new life ends.

I re-read the whole trilogy a few days ago. I cannot get over the fact that Shari had to die again so soon! I wish Pike would write another story of Shari and Peter one more time. I want them to get together soon, as physical or non-physical beings.

I am a big fan of Christopher Pike, afterall I have read a lot of his books (enough to predict almost everything that is going to happen), but I have to say this was not one of his better books. I have to say though the climax of this book was great! It was so suspeseful and sad at the same time. Haven't seen such a great climax from Christopher Pike since Final Friends: The Graduation. This book was overall good except for the fact that Peter can finally walk and Shari dies! The other thing I found extremely boring was the "Starlight Crystal." Like said before I almost just skipped this part. I mean this didn't have any point at all in this book. Pike did a great Job with the characters in this series though! I guess you could say not his best work, but a good book to read.

I cried when Shari died (again!) but at least she saw her mother one last time before she did. Also, she got to do what she was sent back to do. But it kinda sucked that she was in a body that probably wouldn't have lasted long. Everyone should read the Remember Me series.

I loved the first and second books in the series but the last one was a real let down. Take my advice, read the first and second book but don't bother with the last one. It was disappointing how most of the characters from the first book weren't mentioned. However, I have to say there was a nice twist in the end.
