4.0 out of 5 stars Donna rocks as a reporter searching for her dead fiancee, October 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Remember [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I really liked this Donna Mills vehicle (although with her long, ratty hair, she has seldom looked older or more tired). Donna travels to exotic locations (Amsterdam, Barcelona, New York) in order to learn more about her fiance's suicide. Through a series of interesting flashbacks, we find out more and more about his mysterious death. Donna is believable as the intelligent, determined reporter. She wears great clothes, and has a few sexy bed scenes. I kept watching, although non-Donna fans may find this made-for-tv movie a little melodramatic and predictible. Watch for the big ending where Donna saves the day by throwing a bomb into the water in slow motion... cheesy but fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Exciting !, November 16, 1999
This review is from: Remember [VHS] (VHS Tape)
At first I thought..."My god, when does the story start ?". It takes quite a while until the story gets in motion but you won't be disappointed ! It's a very exciting movie (mini-series - whatever) and you can't get your eyes off the screen. Donna Mills gives a great performance and she looks GREAT !

5.0 out of 5 stars REMEMBER, June 11, 2011
I have this DVd - though it says it is Region 2 it plays on my DVD play only DVD player. I thought this was a very exciting movie. Nicky (Donna Mills) is engaged to an English aristocrat (Stephen Collins). On their wedding day he disappears and supposedly commits suicide. As Nicky comes to terms with the tragedy she sees Stephen Collins and uncovers a shocking secret - her former fiance' is not only alive but up to his neck in a murderous international terrorist ring.

Claire Bloom plays Stephen Collins' mother. There are a number of surprises in this movie but except for Nicky no one is who they seem to be. I don't want to give away too much of the plot but it is a great mini-series and very entertaining.
