After reading "Bloodline" I was anxious to read another book by Ms. Jones. She came through with flying colors. What an excellent romantic suspense. Someone is trying to frame Angela Donahue for murder. Not just any murder, but the murder of a very important person. As the evidence accumilates against her, Angela is in a race against time to find out what the heck is going on. Enter undercover cop Dylan Montana, a man that left Angela so long ago and leaving her to get shot and almost die. Dylan is here to help. Angela can not trust him again to be tbere for her. Watch how they have to learn to trust again in time to catch a murderer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absorbing romantic suspense, March 1, 2001
This review is from: Remember Your Lies (Mass Market Paperback)
Savannah Police Department Homicide Chief Johnny Reilly believes that Angela Donahue is involved in the murder of a floater, J.J. Slade, a person she insists she does not know. Reilly tells Angela that Slade had a pocket calendar on him that states he was to lunch with her at the First City Club. Witnesses say that Angela argued with Slade at the club, but she insists she drove to meet a client who failed to show up for the appointment. Angela knows she is in trouble especially since she is ex-GBI and knows what a bulldog Reilly is. Adding to her trouble is that the victim left most of his estate to Angela.

Only undercover cop Dylan Montana believes that Angela is not only innocent, but also the victim of a clever frame. Making matters worse for Angela is that people insist they have seen her in places she says she was not. Refusing to sit idly by as the evidence piles up, Angela accompanied by Dylan begins an investigation that leads to danger and a nasty past.

REMEMBER YOUR LIES is an exciting romantic intrigue that never slows down as the audience wonders what is happening, how, and why to Angela. The story line is fast-paced with a touch of voodoo to spice the plot though that seems unnecessary for this powerful tale. Readers will seek Jill Jones' previous novels because this one is so good the others must be superb also.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Yarn, December 6, 2002

Angela Donahue has changed drastically in the last five years. A shooting ended her career with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and she has turned her life savings into a prosperous local business offering tours of historic Savannah. Life is not complete, but it's relatively peaceful.

Imagine Angela's surprise when she is arrested by her former colleagues for the murder of a man she has not only never met, but never even heard of. Upon news of her arrest, ex-lover and undercover operative Dylan Montana emerges from his rock determined to clear Angela of the charges and reclaim her heart.

What unfolds are the town's relatively unknown, yet notorious, drug underlife. Angela soon discovers that someone has been impersonating her, attempting to discredit her reputation and determined to see her in prison. But why? Who is this person? Anf why does she bear an uncanny resemblance to Angela? And believe me, it's a lot more complicated than you'll think.

Fast-paced action, witty dialogue, historic plantation, old money, nagging parents and Voodooism all conspire to deliver a novel engaging enough to read in one sitting. Highly recommended.
