5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have for contemporary University of South Carolina History, September 13, 2011

This review is from: Remembering the Days: An Illustrated History of the University (Hardcover)
Did you know...
...that there were streakers at the University of South Carolina in the mid-70s?
...that the riot squad wasn't just on the West Coast, but at the University of South Carolina, too?
...that there was a ramp that took walkers, skaters and bike riders all the way from the rear of the Russell House to Bates, Bates West, and Cliff?
...that there is a comprehensive history comprising the University of South Carolina that is supported heavily by pictures?

It's all here in _Remembering the Days: An Illustrated History of the University,_ a must-have for those interested in the contemporary history of the University of South Carolina. This is a "whatever happened to..." digest of the makeup of South Carolina's flagship university, not just in its physical makeup but also in its academic, social and, of course, historical makeup.

Out of print, this volume is worth every penny. Get it when it's available. I am grateful to the staff of the South Caroliniana Library for telling me about this volume.
