This is an insight into the real trauma that all survivors of abuse experience. It touches on the very raw emotions that are felt when the process of healing such trauma begins. It gives hope to other survivors that healing is possible. Thank you Gail for having the courage to write your story...I know it is helping others heal!

Gail O'Keeffe has contributed to a better world through having the courage to publish "The Remembering". She is breaking the silence, the taboos that surround child sexual abuse which protect abusers and allow the cycle of abuse to continue. It takes guts to expose one's vulnerability to the public, but O'Keeffe braves it out. A well written account of her personal ordeal which will connect with the experience of many.

This is an amazing, powerful, inspiring and emotional story. My every emotion touched, my heart so open and my life inspired by this very book. A shining light and a gift to all.
