This review is from: Remembering Honey (Paperback)
Remembering Honey is a tender love story about a small dog that came to live with the Campbell family. Honey is loved and cherished but one day she became sick. The vet is honest with the children when she explains to them that she can make their pet comfortable but eventually Honey will die. The author allows the children to express their various emotions ranging from tears to anger. They also anticipate their loss and when their pet eventually dies, they grieve. However the story does not end here.

Remembering Honey, was recently awarded the Marianna Dempster Memorial Award for outstanding literary contribution by the Canadian Author's Association, NS Branch.

"The subject matter is dealt with in an excellent manner, allowing the young children to mourn the loss of their pet in a very natural way........This book is very well written and is believable and realistic. It would be most useful to young readers who may be dealing with this issue/problem in their lives." Shannon Danylko in Volume 6 #1, Resource Links Newsletter
