I love Patsy Cline, but this was not a good choice for me. The Kindle download had problems (some of the names of those who were reminiscing were absent or blurred). This book consisted of a few anecdotes. Period. Good to borrow from a library, but not good enough to pay for.

A must have for any Patsy Cline fan. This book, released in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of her tragic death in a plane crash, captures many different sides of the great Patsy Cline. The first all picture collection in a book of the legendary songstress, "Remembering Patsy" offers some rare, never before published pictures. The quality and sharpness is outstanding. To accompany each photograph is a reflection by her friends, fans, and family members. Some of the pictures included here capture Patsy at Carnegie Hall, Standing on the steps of City Hall in Manhattan accepting a key to the city, performing in Las Vegas, and sitting with a few fans at Tootsie's in Nashville. They provide another view of a woman who left this earth too long before her time, but has set the standard for all female country singers today. I would love to see a sequel to this book, possibly with color photographs.

Who wouldn't be captivated by the haunting voice of the late Patsy Cline. "Remembering Patsy" is a beautiful collection of photographs of the famed singer, and is a substantial tribute to the star who truly paved the way for today's female vocalists. Strong, witty, yet elegant, Patsy Cline will forever be remembered as a true legend.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great little 'look' into the great Patsy's Cline's life, March 24, 2011

This review is from: Remembering Patsy (Hardcover)
This is a really nice 'coffee-table' style book. It includes some great pictures of Patsy- though all of the images can be found in other books about her. This is by no-means a biography. It's simply a collection of memories from family and friends- hence the title. The book is short (93 pages) and it's an easy read. A must for any fan of Patsy Cline.
