No more hassel shaving body hair!!,
By xxatti (Florida, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Remington CODE Body Hair Groomer (Health and Beauty)
I must say that I love this product! I actually give it 4.5 stars, but there's no half option. This shaver works great, and the best thing is that it's quick and easy to use. I can shave my entire body in just 5mins or so. Shaving was such a pain in the butt, and took way too long. I've tried other devices for body hair before but always had to revert back to shaving because they never cut close enough. This cuts close enough that you can't tell the difference between it and a razor (at least I can't).
It also comes with 3 clips that are perfect for trimming if you want to leave a little hair down below. And it's good for travel since you can charge it on 120v up to 270v. Perfect for me since I travel to Europe a lot. BUT... there are 2 things that I dislike about this product. The 1st thing (and this is major) is that you cannot use it while it's plugged in. This is my biggest gripe with this product because if your charge runs out, you have to wait to let it charge enough before you can use it. That's almost worth taking away an entire star by itself, but I'm so impressed with how this thing shaves that I give it an extra 1/2 star just for how well it works. The 2nd con about this product is that you can't use it in the shower. You can rinse it in water to clean it, but it won't work in the shower. Not that I necessarily need that option, but the Norelco body groomer can operate in water so it would've been nice for Remington to have made there's operate in water too. Other than those two things I can't say anything bad about this product. I highly recommend this product, unless you need to use it in the shower, in which case you should get the Norelco. If you don't need the shower option then you won't be disappointed in this product.

Good product with a few minor faults,

Overall, this is a fine product that does what it was designed to do. I used to have a Panasonic body shaver, but it broke and this was the replacement I found.
I am one of those guys with more hair located anywhere on my body than I have on my head. I need something that will cut anywhere and can handle a load. The cutter this comes with does the job anywhere without nicks and cuts. It may not cut as close as some folks like on the first pass, but at least you don't come through the experience looking like you have been through a meat grinder. The extending handle works fine, but should be a bit longer. I could reach everywhere on my back, but it still took a bit more contorting than it should have. The biggest problem is charge time - it takes quite a while to charge and, at least for me, did not hold the charge for long enough to do the whole body in one sitting. Overall, this is a good product that does the job, is well constructed, and will not leave you in pain; even when working close in on the most sensitive areas.

Good Trimmer, lacking in accesories.,
By KiWiSouP "kiwisoup" (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews

The trimmer itself is nice, good grip, ergonomic, nice close shave, no snags so far. Cleaning is simple enough; you can remove the blades and rinse it, but is not a wet/dry razor. For the price it's a good deal.
However the included accessories are a charger cable, 3 guards, and a small cleaning brush. Most trimmers come with a cradle to charge it in while this one doesn't. The blade guards are all VERY short (1.3mm, 2.5mm, and 3.5mm) so if you like a bit more hair in certain areas then you will need another trimmer for that. Their cylindrical shape is also somewhat awkward, it's hard to explain. You get what you pay for and for the price I can't really complain too much.
