I bought this hairdryer after my hairdryer that I had had for about 7 years bit the dust. My previous dryer was very small and compact and I wanted another small one with as much power as my previous one. I was a little skeptical but after using it about 10 times, I love it. My other one didn't have the "ionic technology" and since I've been using this one my hair is smoother, less frizzy, and shinier. I just barely have to go over my hair with my straightener. Getting ready in the morning doesn't take nearly as long. Also, it has the three different temperature settings that my older one didn't have. It is a little louder than I'm used to, but it gets the job done a little quicker. I totally recommend this dryer, especially if you like smaller hairdryers with as much power as big ones.

I loved this hair dryer when I first got it, hell I even bought my grandma one. It got my hair dry fairly quickly and it is a small model. The other day I was drying my hair and it blew up on the inside! There were parts rattling around and I had to throw it away (it also scared me!). Thank God I had a back up dryer. FOR YOUR SAFETY DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Good, compact hair dryer at a reasonable price. Small size works especially well and the 2 fan speeds and 3 heat settings make it very versatile. Had the dryer a little over 1 year when the fan disintigrated. This is the problem noted in several other reviews. The product has a 2 year warranty so I sent Remington customer service an email and asked about warranty service. They responded the same day and all I had to do was send them a letter describing the problem and include the original receipt. No shipping/handling charge and didn't have to return the broken dryer. Received a replacement via UPS in less than a week. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days.

I have purchased 6 of these dryers in the past few years. Why???? I love the small compact size of the dryer and the power. But... it does tend to do the internal combustion thing that was mentioned in one other review. Parts inside must break and get into the fan which causes sparks and smoke and terrible noise. That is why I buy them 2 at a time. I just consider it a temporary item and am willing to replace it as long as I can find them for $10 - $15.00.

I've bought two of these and they both broke the same way. I bought one about a year ago and it died last months. It didn't make any sound or smoke or anything, it simply stopped working sometime in the night and wouldn't turn on. I bought a new one of the same (dumb choice, I know) a MONTH ago, and it breaks today! Just won't turn on! Don't buy these things, they're not going to last.

I bought this hair dryer before going on a study abroad trip to Costa Rica about 2 and a half years ago, it was not to replace my old one, which I thought was great at the time. I just wanted something small to take with me so I wouldn't take up as much space in my luggage. It turns out that this hair dryer is the only hair dryer that I use. I read the other reviews that say it exploded, but mine has never blown up or anything like that. I use it almost everyday on high, and it still works as great as the first time. I would recommend this hair dryer to anyone looking for a powerful hair dryer that gets the job done. I have thick wavy, frizzy hair, and it dries my hair in no time. If it blows up tomorrow, I would still say it's a great product! Hope this helps!

I've had this hair dryer for over a year now. Bought it on a whim because it was cheap, compact, and cute. I haven't had the mechanical problems I've read about here ...on the plus side it's functioning well and holding up (which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of the 1 I really want to give it). However, one HUGE problem for me when I use this is that if I'm not careful it will suck in the ends of my long hair and tangle up inside the coils of the dryer! I have literally had to cut my hair to get out of it before. I also feel the heat dispensing/control is not very good and it fries up the ends of my long hair too. I don't dry my hair that often, so I just kept using it on the rare occasion I needed to, but I definitely would not recommend this to anyone. I finally "splurged" ($40) and bought a new hair dryer and I can't believe the difference! New one dries SO MUCH faster, hair feels incredibly soft & smooth, and best of all no worries about my hair getting tangled, eaten & fried up. My advice is spend a little extra and get a better product than this.

OK, this isn't the longest-lasting hair dryer, but I always come back to it. Couldn't find it in the store, so ordered it on Amazon I'm so committed to this dryer! I don't mind replacing it because it is reasonably priced. Love it that it's small, and the biggest selling point is that the heat setting and air-flow settings are separate. This is important to me, because I like to use the high heat on the low air flow setting for styling. Many hair dryers combine the settings, so you get lower heat when you select lower air flow.

I have had the Remington All That Hair Dryer in the Red with Chrome for over 9 years and have never had a problem. Just recently, it started making an unusual noise like it is probably getting ready to go bad, so I went out today to buy another one. To my dismay, I couldn't find one anywhere, so I got on line and was tempted to order two....you know, just in case the new one goes out in another 9 years, and then I can't find another. My husband intervened and said to just order one, so that's what I am doing! It has been with me when I travel and I use this hair dryer everyday. I have a little natural wave to my hair which gets a little frizzy, but with this hair dryer, it seems a lot smoother. I LOVE THIS HAIR DRYER!!!! I was so happy to find it on line so that I could get another one!

I really liked this hair dryer because of its size and simple operation... that is until it fried. While using it today, there was a loud pop and the dryer started smoking. I just turned it on for about 10 seconds when this happened so it has nothing to do with keeping it on for too long. The other reviews here confirm that there is some defect in design that makes this thing fail. Mine lasted about a year.
