This is an awesome trimmer, I bought it to replace my Wahl Groomsmen. The Wahl is an alright trimmer but it lacks in the trimming lengths department. The Remington has a total of nine trimming lengths. The guard doesn't have to come off to change the lengths, which is a plus. And I can finally get that designer stubble look the ladies love. Also, there are no cords, the plug is in the back of the trimmer just like plugging in a night light. The price is also great for such a high quality product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great trimmer or for anyone looking to give this as a gift.

After spending way way too long researching trimmers, I decided on this one and I'm glad I did. Been using it for a couple of months now, and I love it. Was trying to find something that was reliable, rechargeable, and would be able to give me a very fine stubble-like appearance. Well, so far, it does all this, and at a pretty decent price as well. Definitely recommended.

This is simply the best beard shaver I have ever used. It is easy and convenient and allows for multiple settings therefore making shaping simple and quick. I recommend it hands down.

This seemed like a decent design. No cords, plugs into the wall, simple dial adjustment. Out of the box I charged it for 20 hours. Manual says to charge it for at least 12-14 hours. On the first run through my beard the blades froze. Not enough power. I turned it on and it ran without cutting hair for 10 seconds and died.

I'd like to point out that the seller, Discount Jungle charged $10 shipping on a $20 item, doesn't pay for shipping on returns of defective items and has a restocking fee policy that seems out of line with e-commerce standards.

This trimmer is by far the best beard trimmer I've ever had. The guard on the trimmer makes it very easy to choose and keep your beard trimmed to a uniform length, doesn't need a charging stand or cord and is sturdy and solid. Great product here.

My boss and I both purchased this trimmer, I on his recommendation after he showed it to me, and the other recommendations herein. We both really like it, so count this as two positive reviews. I have been using it about 3 weeks. Pluses: 1. Cordless; 2. Looks good; 3. Works very well and simple to use. On this, I have never had a beard trimmer before, but used a hair scissors, and the trimmer does a very nice job of uniformly cutting whether at a close length, giving a shadow look, or at a longer length to give a clean cut look with uniform length. The trimmer is narrow enough to get at all hard to reach places. It cut my trimming time at least 75% compared to a hair scissors, so it not only does a nice job, but does it quickly. I think it is just a clever well engineered device. I thought about getting the Remington MB-300 with pop up trimmer, but am now glad that I did not as the MB-250 is just over 1/2 the price of the MB-300, it also can be used as a straight trimmer by easily removing the comb guard, and its one less thing to go wrong with the trimmer. Negatives: The only criticism I have is the trimmer doesn't seem to keep a charge very long, at least compared to my Sonic Care Toothbrush which I can charge once and use 2 times a day (each time with a 2 minute cycle) for a week or more without re-charging. The trimmer certainly works fine two or three times and its no problem to leave it plugged in the wall outlet, but I don't know how far I would get if on vacation without a plug in. Other comments: I bought it from Amazon merchant DiscountCentralOnline, who I never heard of before (after I could not find the trimmer at either Super Wal-Mart or Target in the store) and was very satisfied with this merchant who shipped the next business day, and the trimmer came appropriately packed in new condition. I would note that you make sure you are pointing the trimmer the right way with the blade facing the hair or it won't cut well at all, very simple if you just look where the blade is, and read the instructions. Finally, I would still recommend a hair scissors for touch up to complement the trimmer.

This product is as advertised. It is great for getting a neat, close cut, the battery lasts long enough for a couple of long trims, it cleans easy, runs quietly, looks nice and feels solid. No problem with the self-lubricating blade or design. Well worth the money.

I have had a beard most of my life and until I got this electric razor I never had one that would trim my beard properly. This razor is versatile and easy to use plus being able to plug it in for a recharge without a separate charger is a bonus. Highly recommended!

I had an older model and was impressed by the looks of the new one and liked the fact that the charger was built in. Unfortunately, it did not cut evenly and most importantly, after 2 months it wouldn't hold a charge. I called Remington and they were no help at all. It was their bad attitude that prompted me to write this review. I am going to buy the refurbished older model that worked so well.

In general I am happy with the purchase. The item trims at the perfect height for beard or eybrows with the click of the dial. However, the trimmer runs out of power very quickly and I really don't like to leave it plugged in all the time. So about half the time when you want to use it it runs down and gets stuck in your beard and stops trimming. Even on full charge it runs really slow compared to other trimmers, but cuts fine.

If you buy it cheap under $20 and don't mind charging it often it makes a good trimmer. Since the charger is build in, charging isn't all that big of an issue, even when traveling.
