Best in its class/price range, January 24, 2010
This review is from: Remington MPT-3500 Dual Blade Precision Detail Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
this product is great!!! it is light compact and can get into hard to reach places. It causes little irritation and is great on all hair types. I use t on my beard, mustache, brows, and to line up the hair on my forehead and the back of my neck.
I have owned several others in the past from well known makers. All of them shared the same manufacturing quality but as far as performance this one is far better!!! I have never had an issue with it getting jammed up and pulling hair n sensitive areas the other brands do. My best friend just bought another brand and it worked horrible. I have been using these types of trimmers for over 5 years i have owned at least 4 different brands and again i have to say this is the best!!! it is now 2yrs old and going strong!!! In comparison to the others this one is super-charged which helps it from jamming and biting.... i wouldn't ever go back to any other brand when it comes to this style trimmer!!!!

Junk? Yes. But it works!, December 16, 2009
This review is from: Remington MPT-3500 Dual Blade Precision Detail Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
Is this built like a piece of junk? Yes, it is. This is one of the most cheaply-built products I've ever seen. Many times when I flip the switch, it does not turn on, and I need to try multiple times or shake it up and down to get it going. THAT SAID, when the thing finally turns on, it cuts nose hair better than any other tool I've tried (from any manufacturer). I find that those "round" nose hair trimmers work really badly. This Remington just cuts and cuts. It is *worlds* better than any other trimmer I've tried. I wish it wasn't built so cheaply, because the design is solid. P.S: I've had mine for several years. It's still junk, and it still works.

The "No Nose Hair" Machine, July 7, 2011
This review is from: Remington MPT-3500 Dual Blade Precision Detail Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
I have never before been compelled to write a review about a mere personal care product, but the Remington MPT-3500 nose hair trimmer is so effective that I am not only composing this review, but I have recommended the product to all my close friends and family members. Prior to purchasing this item, I had unseemly nose hair that I attacked with: nose hair scissors (which were ineffective and time-consuming); various other brands of battery-powered nose trimmers (which did not yield quality results); and finally with tweezers, which removed the hair, but caused me to sneeze continuously and resulted in bloodshot eyes. In contrast, the MPT-3500 removes all of my nose hair in approximately 30 seconds - and makes me look like I have the nose of a baby (I am well into my 30s). One tip I have is to operate the trimmer BEFORE taking a shower, since the trimmer's tiny blades definitely cut dry hair more effectively than moist hair. Other than that, the trimmer's operation is profoundly simple: move the trimmer along the inside surfaces of each nostril and then blow your nose. That's it. Again, this is a superb product that has improved my appearance and - dare I say - my sense of well-being.
