4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Shave, Check your local Big Lotts first, July 18, 2005
Okay. Amazon lists this item for way too much. I'm not sure whether I consider myself proud or tacky when I say this, but I bought this razor from Big Lotts (Pick n' Save) for $25.00 US and it's one of the best razors I've ever had. While it's not as good as my father's $150 Norelco, it comes close. Frankly, I've never been a big fan of rotory shaving because I have sideburns and a goatee and the triangular shape of the razor's head tends to pull hairs out of my beard. The Remington's twin screens work well and get close. Also, there's a clever little trimmer that assists in cutting 3 or 4 day beards that you can pop up. However, I'm not too thrilled with using the trimmer as a stand alone because it's a bit wide for getting into spots where one needs to trim (eyebrows, mouth, nose, sideburns...)If you're looking for a great ballance of price and function, check this one out. I'm not sure It's an okay deal with amazon, even better at Big Lotts.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for everyday shave, but not for interviews, September 4, 2005
I've been using this product for more than 3 months now.

Pros:
1. No shaving cream/gel, no fuss
2. Battery life seems good till now
3. Light and portable
4. Decent quality of shave. Took me more than a week to get accustomed to it and to get the desired quality.

Cons:
1. Not good for an 'interview-grade' shave, i.e. does not provide close shaves.
2. Getting a good shave takes time
